Graduated in both fluid ounces and milliliters. The graduations are approximate only. These blown graduates, of substantial weight for greater mechanical strength, are ideal for measuring hot solutions. (Because of their heavy walls, they should not be subjected to direct contact with the heat source.) General purpose disposable polystyrene beakers for a wide variety of general laboratory procedures. Beakers come in a handy pull down style dispenser sleeve. Available in sizes ranging from 5 to 50 ml volumes.
Withstands indirect heat to 93C (200F). The 5, 10, 20 and 50 ml are excellent for use with atomic absorption, flame photometers and blood cell-counters. Exceptional chemical resistance to diluted or weak acids, aqueous solutions, alcohols and bases. Four-way pour spouts. Beakers feature a vertical lip around the top of the beaker which serves two purposes. First, the lip contains many spills that may occur with the rounded design of a griffin style beaker. Polymethylpentene (PMP) beakers are graduated in ounces and milliliters. Rectangular handle for easy carrying and pouring. Extra-heavy wall. Window-clear, can withstand continuous use at 150C (302F) and are transparent to microwaves. Not for use on hot plates. Autoclavable. Wide temperature range, -270 to +250C (-454 to +482F).
