Traditional Blue Patina

Traditional Patinas:  These are old formulas - or variations of old formulas. Many of these patina formulas are available in the books and videos; we have just pre-mixed them for you. All contain acids.

Available Colors: Light Green Tiffany Green Mint Green (hot)  Blue - indoor only Powder Blue - indoor or outdoor Mahogany Ferric Nitrate/Ferric Chloride (Brown) (hot) Ferric Nitrate (Brown) (hot) Cupric Nitrate (hot) Japanese Brown (for all metals) (hot or cold) Golden Bronze (for Steel & Iron) (hot)

For bronze, brass, or copper except for Japanese Brown. Will cause rust on iron and steel. The metal should be clean and between 65° - 70°Fahrenheit. Allow 2-12 hours for reaction to take place. Reapply if the color is not intense enough. The patina will be chalky - apply a clear sealer when finished.
