DIRECTIONS FOR USE: SURFACE PREPERATION IS IMPORTANT TO THE DURABILITY AND INTERGRITY OF THE FINISH. ALL SURFACES MUST BE CLEAN, DRY AND FREE FROM CONTAMINANTS SUCH AS OILS, WAXES, DUST AND FINGERPRINTS. INSURE THAT THE SURFACES AND FINISHES TO BE COATED HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY DRIED AND HARDENED. WHEN THERE IS A PREVIOUSLY APPLIED COATING OR FINISH, THE APPLICATOR SHOULD TEST A SMALL AREA FOR COMPATIBILITY BEFORE PROCEEDING. APPLICATION: THE TOPCOAT CAN BE BRUSHED OR SPRAYED ONTO A PROPERLY PREPARED AND COMPLETED SURFACE. IN AS MUCH AS THE TOPCOAT MAY APPEAR UNIFORM IN APPEARANCE, IT SHOULD BE STIRRED THOROUGHLY. STIR SLOWLY TO PREVENT ENTRAPMENT OF AIR AND THEREBY CREATING BUBBLES WHEN APPLIED. IDEAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION IS THAT THE TOP COAT SHOULD BE APPLIED AT 65 TO 75 DEGREES FARENHEIDT AND 40 TO 60 DEGREES OF RELATIVE HUMIDITY. DIFFERING CONTIONS CAN COMPROMISE FILM INTERGRITY. THE TOP COAT SHOULD BE APPLIED AT THE VISCOSITY AS RECEIVED. IF THINNING IS NECESSARY WHEN SPRAYING, THEN USE MINERAL SPIRITS, NAPTHA OR A COMPATIBLE SYNTHETIC REDUCER. APPLY USING MULTIPLE LIGHT MIST COATS. WHEN BRUSHING, IS THINNING IS NECESSARY, USE MINERAL SPIRITS OR TURPENTINE SPARINGLY AND APPLY EVENLY WITH A SOFT NATURAL BRISTLE BRUSH. DRY TIME TO TOUCH IS 1 TO 3 HOURS DEPENDING ON THE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY. HARD CURE IS ATTAINED AFTER 10 TO 12 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT. ONE CAN ASSUME THAT THE COVERAGE FOR THE TOP COAT ON A PROPERLY SEALED AND OR PREPARED SURFACE IS APPROXIMATELY 300 SQUARE FEET PER GALLON AT A NORMAL THICKNESS OF ONE MIL.
